Why Porto and the Douro Region?

Porto is the capital city of the North of Portugal, cosmopolitan, origin of social and cultural movements, with the Bairro das Artes, Quarteirão Bombarda, Casa da Música, Casa da Arquitetura, Fundação Serralves, are examples of a community that Don’t forget Art. The Douro, its stunning landscapes, the marks of Man’s work (recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site), the Wines, are cultural records of Porto and the Douro.

This unique region more than justifies a visit, a unique experience. Go up the Douro River in a Rabelo Boat (traditional transport of wines from farms to cellars), experience a vintage (grape harvest), or visit the Port Wine cellars and try the different wines of the region. Discover the city, its hotels and high-class restaurants, enjoy the excellence of the Casa da Música poster, or visit the Serralves Foundation. We highlight some events for companies and organizations:

Incentive for one hundred and fifty employees of a fine watchmaking company, to stay in the city, in a 5-star hotel, visit the Port Wine cellars, in the company of several sommeliers. Tasting of local products and visit to one of the traditional Port Wine producing families. Regatta on the Douro River. Dinner in the cloisters of a convent.

Event that featured thirty members of the top management of a Champagne House, who stayed in five-star accommodation on the banks of the Douro River, where they visited several wine producing farms. They traveled on a Rabelo boat and in cabriolets throughout the Douro Wine Region.
