There are nine islands that argue among themselves which is the most beautiful! Unspoiled nature is the big reason to visit the Azores, lagoons, pastures, craters of extinct volcanoes, hot water waterfalls, fumaroles. The Azores Geopark, with 122 geosites throughout the archipelago.
Cities such as Ponta Delgada, Angra do Heroísmo, or Horta remain in the memory of those who visit the Azores.
The only tea plantation in Europe – Gorreana, on the Island of São Miguel, but also the Pineapple plantations and Pico Vineyards, recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. The 24 types of cetaceans that we can visit in the waters of these islands, or dolphins and other marine species.
All two and a half hours from the mainland.
The Azores like to receive. Sustainability is an asset in this destination, without compromising comfort and quality in accommodation, meals and logistics.
As an example, we organized an event for a service company in Ponta Delgada, which brought together its staff in an excellent space in the city, fully equipped and with capacity for hundreds of people, staying in a five-star hotel and enjoying the region’s excellent cuisine. . There was a varied entertainment program with visits to local realities and observation activities of various species at sea.
It’s easy to like the Azores.
The Azores archipelago has yet to be explored, and it takes a lot of dedication to transform something that already exists, or is just potential, into an alternative program.
There is capacity and infrastructure, but the detailing needs attention and work. We did not find systematized models. We need to seek and find the most appropriate solutions, so that in the end we can provide unique experiences never before realized that delight customers.
